Blue Angels

The United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, colloquially known as the “Blue Angels,” are one of America’s premier military stunt and acrobatics teams. The “Blues” as they are sometimes referred to, have been wowing aviation fans since their inaugural flight in 1946. The team, based out of Pensacola, Florida is well known for traveling across the country with their modified Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet Fighter Jets and performing daring yet incredible feats of aerial acrobatics. Equally important to the Blue’s mission are the ground support officers who ensure that the team is equipped and in shape to perform for the public. The team also employs a modified C-130 Hercules Aircraft to transport personnel and materials.
